Yoga classes via Zoom
"I can't bend like that!"

When someone tells me about their physical limitations, I usually say: "Why not try yoga?" The answer I hear just as often: "I can't bend like that."
But you don't have to – that comes naturally over time.

"I can't sit on the floor, let alone cross-legged!" is equally high on the top 10 list of complaints. My answer: "Then start in a chair!" Did you know that I started yoga in 2006 and couldn't sit cross-legged either?

You just need to be willing to move. You need to allow yourself to change. I've seen so many participants make noticeable progress in a short time – physically, mentally and in their trust in themselves. I'm moved every single time when the next student comes to me beaming: "Did you see that – today I wasn't on the chair, I was on the floor and actually tried to follow along!"

"Do I have to show myself on camera?" – YES!

"Yoga via Zoom? Does that even work?" – "Yes, really well actually!"

When I had to close my yoga studio during lockdown in 2020, I started teaching yoga via Zoom. By now my Yogis & Yoginis join from everywhere – from home, from abroad, on holiday or from their garden.
Zoom gives us the freedom to no longer depend on WHERE – only on WHEN.

I know the shyness of showing yourself too. Back in 2020 I was still totally camera-shy myself. But you also can't attend a regular yoga class or gym with a bag over your head. You'll see: all the Yogis & Yoginis are wonderfully kind and were once just as shy as we were.

Sometimes kids and pets join in too.
(Children up to 18 and pets up to 100 join for free 😄)

Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga according to Yogi Bhajan
We tune in to an hour full of dynamism , strength, and power . Through flowing asanas, we move dynamically and mindfully through the chakras , promoting energy flow and strengthening our inner balance. We learn to breathe deeply and consciously, connecting with our inner strength and resources . Sometimes we sweat, sometimes we swear, sometimes we laugh . And finally, we tune in to each other – relieved, relaxed , and fulfilled.
Every Monday & Wednesday at 7 pm (CET)
Fridays at 10 a.m. (CET)

Yin Soma Yoga
Yin Soma Yoga by Kate Bono
We release stress and pressure. From everything. From our breath , from our movements, from our muscles and joints. This isn't always easy, but with gentle stretches and light swaying , I'll guide you through a super relaxing hour, from which we can leave feeling relaxed and grounded.
Every Thursday at 7 pm (CET)
Kundadance®
Kundadance® by Maya Fiennes
We'll dance our way through an hour with elements of QiGong, TaiChi, and fitness moves . Currently, there are two phases, Phase I and Phase II, which I teach alternately for five weeks each. Awaken your chakras , dance away your blockages.
Unfortunately, I currently lack the necessary space for that.
But you are welcome to book me - as an online or in-person workshop (near 28876 Oyten +100 km) for your group , girls' workshop, etc.
Feel free to message me :)

beginner or advanced
I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years. Until 2020 live and in-person with students of all ages, including very different physical conditions or special needs, limited mobility or vision. Primarily in German, but bilingual (English) when needed.
Children and teenagers were well looked after in their own courses – though this doesn't exclude them from the main classes, and through the Zoom format, kids and teens now join alongside their parents.

For a while I distinguished between beginners and advanced students, but I no longer find that necessary. The only thing I consider helpful is an introductory course to understand the basic exercises and breathing techniques, the tuning in and tuning out – so you're not starting from zero.

I design my classes so that everyone can practice within their own possibilities – beginners and advanced together. Everyone chooses for themselves how far they go, how long they push through and what their body can handle.

My teaching approach is that you learn to listen to your own body. There is no perfect asana – unless that's your goal – but that's not what my classes are about.

We don't strive for perfection, but for happiness and feeling better – those are our birthrights.

prices, calendars, packages - which one should I choose?
Setting up a booking system like this wasn't easy for me – I'd been working very unbureaucratically all these years. Whoever shows up, pays.
But the more I grow, the more the challenges and requirements grow too.

You can book your classes each week from the calendar and pay for each one individually. Or you book a price package – these are not subscriptions, but packages that you need to re-book each month. This saves you a few percent on every yoga class.

With these packages you can also book your classes in the calendar. At the end of each booking process you choose your options.

Once we're making full use of everything this website has to offer, there'll also be a members area, videos, workshops and more – all online.

Stay tuned. 😊

Sunday Yoga
Sometimes I make up for a cancelled class on a Sunday, or I run spontaneous Sunday workshops.
You'll find these in the booking calendar or on the KateBonoYoga channel.

You can tell the difference by the label:

Replacement Class
If a class such as weeklyKundaliniYoga was cancelled because I was unavailable, that weeklyKundaliniYoga will appear in the following Sunday as a booking option.

Sunday Workshop
If Sunday Yoga Workshop appears in the calendar on a Sunday, it's an extra workshop – not a replacement class.
Occasionally Sundays at 10 am
